Every plan gets the same endpoint, the same fields and the same data. You pay only for more calls. Prices are in US dollars, billed monthly by Stripe, and you can cancel from your account page.

How the quota works
- A call is one request to
/api/v1/flood/zone. Answers for unmapped points count; so does 404address_not_found. - Bad-input (422) and failed (5xx) calls are refunded automatically. Rate-limited and unauthenticated calls are never counted.
- The count resets on the first day of each month (UTC). Unused calls do not roll over.
- At the limit, calls return 429
quota_exceeded. Nothing is billed beyond your plan. - Every plan is limited to 5 requests per second per key.
Changing plans
- From Free to a paid plan: choose Upgrade on your account page. Your existing keys keep working and get the new quota as soon as payment goes through.
- Between paid plans: email [email protected] from your account's address and we will switch it.
- Cancel or update your card: Manage billing on your account page opens Stripe's billing portal.
What no plan includes
No plan includes a Standard Flood Hazard Determination, life-of-loan monitoring, or a guarantee that FEMA's map is right for a particular building. If you need a determination for a loan, buy it from a flood determination company.
