API changelog

Changes to the Flood Zone API, newest first. Within v1 we add fields but do not rename or remove fields or error codes; a breaking change would ship under a new path, /api/v2/.

September 29, 2026: version 1

• GET /api/v1/flood/zone with address or lat and lon.
• Returns the zone, subtype, SFHA flag, static base flood elevation with unit and datum, AO depth, FIRM panel and effective date, the geocoded point with its precision, and a source block.
• Errors: invalid_key, invalid_request, address_not_found, quota_exceeded, rate_limited, upstream_unavailable, internal_error.
• Plans: Free (100 calls a month), Starter ($19, 2,500), Growth ($49, 10,000), Scale ($149, 50,000).
